It looks like the culvert will work well to interface with the existing path beside the river, and with the turn towards the bridge ramp

The Dobwalls bypass road goes over the railway (on the left) but the cycleway goes under, presumably using the old road.
The old road is actually still viable for cyclists as an alternative to slogging up the hill on the A394.
